Our leaflets will be freely available from local shops and community buildings and will give users a variety of information on the village and a range of routes to follow. We have also received money to be spent on the installation and maintenance of defibrillators around the village and on possible training courses for residents.
FHG has received a grant from ‘We Love Lichfield’ to produce a number of ‘Village Walk’ leaflets. Fradley History Society have devised 3 walk routes:
The Coffin Trail – This is the route taken from Fradley village to All Saints Church in Alrewas which was used for hundreds of years before St. Stephens Church was built in 1861.
Buildings – These walks will take in the oldest and most prominent houses in Fradley, with details about the buildings themselves and their role in the community.
RAF Lichfield – These walks will explore the many remaining buildings, hangars and pill boxes on the former airfield.
More leaflets are planned and will hopefully be funded by local businesses. If you would like to donate/contribute to this cause, please contact us.

You could also walk the public footpaths that run through the village and wider area, taking in ancient woodland, the canals and some of the oldest routes thought the area. If you would like to explore the canal network then follow some of the walks proposed by British Waterways / Canal & River Trust. Or try some of the cycle routes.
